Meet Dr. Vin Rajan

Dr. Vin Rajan is the epitome of someone who believes in himself enough to make all his dreams come true. He aspires to inspire everyone around him through his hard work, dedication and attention to detail. He sets the bar high for everything he does.

As a New Jersey native, Dr. Rajan completed his bachelor’s education in Cell Biology and Neuroscience at Rutgers University, went on to complete his Master’s in Biology at UMDNJ (now Rutgers School of Medicine) and pursued his doctorate in Dental Surgery at New York University College of Dentistry.

His accolades in the field of dentistry are numerous:

During his doctorate education at NYU, he was selected to participate in highly coveted faculty practice residency program and worked among specialists in the field to deliver dental care to NYU faculty and alumni.

After graduating from NYU College of Dentistry, he went on to pursue his residency in Brooklyn, New York at Woodhull Hospital. During the residency, he learned to work with special needs patients and became fully competent in root canal retreatments, extractions, bone grafts, implant placement and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Rajan also believes in giving back to the community. He has traveled to La Romana in Dominican Republic for a mission trip to provide dental care to those who have no access to it. During this trip, Dr. Rajan and his collogues would set up portable dental chairs, instruments and a sterilization station at local churches to provide dental care to as many patients as possible. It is this work that inspires him to provide pro-bono care to those in need.

When he is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Rajan’s heart resides with his wife, family and friends. He values the relationships he has with the good people he is fortunate to know and works hard to be there for them all. In his leisure time, you can find Dr. Rajan on the basketball court (go Lakers!) or the gym.
